Beginner Lamb Canvas

All canvases are painted by hand.  Each is stitch painted and is based off of the Master Marquin creates in her studio located in Downtown Greenville, South Carolina.

This Sheep Canvas was inspired by our small pueblo in Spain: it was one of the last remaining villages with a true Shepard.  I just adored watching the sheep graze and how he tended to them: the meaning of shepherding took on a real and deep context for me. 

The canvas measures approximately 3 x 3 inches and is painted on 18 count mesh.  

It was designed as a Christmas Ornament, but can be anything you can imagine!
